SPARTANBURG, S.C. —

A teen was shot and killed through a front window as he sat in a living room early Saturday morning.

Spartanburg City Police say they responded to a fatal shooting just before 1 a.m. on Amherst Drive.

There, they found a male under the age of 18 unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the victim was sitting in the living room when someone fired several shots from the front yard into the home. The juvenile was hit at least twice through a window.

The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has not yet said who this victim was. Spartanburg City Police are still investigating.
