Five high school athletes were named Seacoast Standouts during the week of Sept. 15-20, representing Portsmouth , Exeter , Oyster River , and St. Thomas Aquinas.

Baker helps St. Thomas Aquinas girls soccer remain unbeaten

DOVER - Mallory Baker had two goals and two assists as the St. Thomas Aquinas girls soccer team beat Conant , 5-1 on Friday, Sept. 19.

Baker, a junior forward, was named Friday's Seacoast Standout Athlete of the Day.

"I couldn’t be more proud of Mallory’s growth from her first year in our program," St. Thomas head coach Patrick Hureau said. "I’d say the biggest difference from last year is how she’s grown as a leader, on and off the field."

Hureau said Baker is no longer able to surprise teams.
