Farm Aid is celebrating its 40th anniversary during its daylong music festival on Saturday, Sept. 20, in Minneapolis.

You don't have to attend in person to watch and tune into the star-studded lineup of performances. You can also join in by donating to charity, which has raised over $85 million to support farmers since 1985.

The concert , featuring headliners Farm Aid co-founders Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp, as well as fellow Farm Aid board members Dave Matthews and Margo Price, takes place at Huntington Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota's campus.

"I’m proud that for forty years, we’ve brought people together from all over the country – and even the world – to appreciate and celebrate family farmers," wrote Nelson in August in a blog post on the Farm Aid
