Massachusetts could see its first frost of the season on Saturday night as cold temperatures blanket the state.

Though no frost advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to dip as low as 35 degrees in some areas — which does fall in the 33 to 36-degree frost advisory range, said forecaster Kyle Pederson.

Areas across Central and Western Massachusetts have the best chance of seeing frost on Saturday night. This includes from northern Worcester County to the Berkshires, which are projected to be in the 35 to 37-degree range, Pederson said. He added that those at higher elevations have the highest chances.
