The FIA has referred car 31, belonging to Esteban Ocon, to the stewards after his Haas car failed its rear wing main-plane tip deflection test taken after qualifying at the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Issued at around 19:30 local time on the Saturday, the matter has been referred to the stewards for further consideration.

The report read:

"A rear wing main plane tip deflection test according to TR Article 3.15.17 was carried out on car 31. The deflection figures measured on this rear wing exceeded the allowed deflection of 0.5mm.

"Therefore I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration."
