All lanes were blocked on Interstate 10's westbound lanes on the Twin Span near U.S. 11 because of a vehicle fire Saturday morning, according to the Louisiana Department of Development and Transportation.

The fire at mile marker 256 started at around 8:35 a.m., DOTD said.

All lanes remained blocked as of 11:41 a.m. Saturday. A driver reported that an 18-wheeler had caught fire.

No other information was immediately available.
