The Anthropologie store that has long occupied two floors on the corner of Canal Place is moving to Metairie's Lakeside Shopping Center .

A sign has been up in the Macy's wing of Lakeside for about a month, alerting shoppers to the new location for the upscale women's clothing and home goods brand.

This summer, the mall also announced three other new stores : the state's first Vuori, an athleisure brand represented by LSU's Livvy Dunne, along with ear-piercing chain Rowan and clothing store Garage. Mango and Alo Yoga opened earlier this year.

To fill the soon-to-be vacant space in Canal Place, General Manager Matt Brown said they're now in talks with several new retailers.
