A house that sold for $968,000 tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in West Orange in the past week.

The area saw a total of 12 residential real estate sales during the past week, averaging $747,917, or $400 per square foot.

The prices in the list below include real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Sept. 8 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $600K, single-family home at 9 Elmwood Ave.

The property at 9 Elmwood Ave. in West Orange has new owners. The price was $600,000. The single-family house was built in 1942 and has a living area of 1,230 square feet. The price per square foot was $488. The deal was finalized on Aug. 8.

9. $662K, single-family residence at 10 Wilson Terrace
