Greensboro police have arrested three men in connection with a shooting on Friday near a busy Greensboro intersection, authorities said.

Joshua Isaac Fountain, 27, Malik Justin Sampson, 24, and Marvin Angelo Waters III, 22, are each charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and felony conspiracy, police said.

The men are also charged with discharging a weapon into a moving vehicle, assault of a school employee and discharging a firearm in the city, police said.

Investigators said the shooting was not a random act of violence and that the suspects and the victims know each other.

All three men are in the Guilford County Jail without bond and are scheduled to appear on Monday in Guilford District Court.
