ERIE, Pa. — Sixth-ranked Minnesota Duluth finished up a nonconference series sweep at Mercyhurst on Saturday, defeating the Lakers 5-3.

One of the Bulldogs' five goals came from senior forward Thea Johansson, a Swedish national team player who played three seasons for the Lakers before transferring to UMD in the offseason. Johansson led Mercyhurst in scoring the previous two seasons, and is now five points shy of 100 for her college career.

Freshman forward Rae Mayer scored her first collegiate goal Saturday while junior forward Grace Sadura, sophomore defenseman Ida Karlsson and sophomore center Caitlin Kraemer also scored for UMD.
