LOUISVILLE — With so many new faces on Bowling Green State University’s football team, especially offensively, the Falcons have had a bit of a slow start to the season on that side of the ball.
First-year coach Eddie George, though, isn’t hitting the panic button just yet.
After compiling just 321 yards of offense in Saturday’s 40-17 loss at Louisville and being held to less than 375 for the fourth time in four games, George said he is “not concerned” with his team’s ability with the ball in its hands. Nearly half of the Falcons’ yards against the Cardinals came in the fourth quarter with the game out of reach, and more than one-third of them came on two plays.
