JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — Jonesborough hosted its 4th annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival on Saturday, and this year featured a trio of new fall features.
New this year was the Master Gardener's Exhibit, a large Jack the Pumpkin King display and a Scarecrow Costume Contest.
The festival also had music, blue-ribbon contests, food trucks, pumpkin-themed treat shops and several local vendors. Even the town's honorary citizen, Yoda, was dressed up in his fall attire.
Carla Bowers, owner of Silver Raven, said there is something to do on every block of the festival, whether it is pumpkin painting or joining in on the pie-eating contest.
