During the broadcast of the South Carolina Gamecocks' game against Missouri, head coach Shane Beamer announced that Connor Shaw was released from the hospital Saturday.

Shaw spent several days at a Greenville hospital after collapsing while coaching his son's football game Wednesday night in Simpsonville.

Former Gamecock quarterback Connor Shaw collapsed while coaching his son's football game in Simpsonville, South Carolina, on Wednesday night.

The city of Simpsonville sent the following statement to WYFF News 4 on Thursday morning:
