There’s an unwritten rule for sports coaches to keep it classy and avoid disrespecting the opponent when the score is lopsided, but don’t tell that to Ole Miss Rebels football head coach Lane Kiffin.
Kiffin’s Rebels made easy work of the visiting Tulane Green Wave on Saturday, cruising to a 45-10 blowout victory to move to 4-0 on the season. The game got so out of hand that Kiffin and the Rebels turned to playing hoops on the sidelines during a brief break in the fourth quarter.
Ole Miss wide receiver Deuce Alexander was about to take a shot on the Rebels’ sideline basketball hoop, when Lane Kiffin stepped in and decided to get involved. Kiffin took the ball and set up Alexander for a beautiful slam dunk:
