New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (1) celebrates with teammates after scoring a touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys during the second quarter at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) and the New York Giants (0-2) meet for Sunday Night Football at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's Chiefs vs. Giants odds and tab the 5 best prop bets to win among SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 3.

The Chiefs have opened the season with a pair of losses, but both of the setbacks are in 1-score games. Kansas City dropped a 27-21 decision as a 3-point favorite in Brazil against the LA Chargers in Week 1 as the Over (46.5) cashed, while the Chiefs lost a Super Bowl LIX rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, 20-17. Kansas City was a 1-point underdog, and the Under (47.5) cashed.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has completed 58.8% of his passes for just 445 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT, while running for a team-best 123 yards and 2 TDs. In fact, Mahomes is averaging 9.5 yards per carry. RBs Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco are tied for second in rushing with just 47 yards, so the lack of a run game has hurt Mahomes through the air. WR Hollywood Brown has been the most dependable option with 15 receptions and 129 yards on 21 targets, including 6 first-down receptions.

The Giants lost 21-6 against the Washington Commanders in Week 1, failing to cover as 6-point 'dogs as the Under (45.5) hit. In Week 2, the Giants lost a shootout in Dallas against the Cowboys, 40-37 in OT. While it was a loss, they covered as 5.5-point underdogs as the Over (44.5) easily cashed. The offensive show gives the G-Men renewed faith heading into Week 3.

Giants QB Russell Wilson was sharp in Week 2, throwing for 450 yards, 3 TDs and 1 INT in the OT loss. It's crazy how perceptions change, as he wasn't so washed like fans said after the opening-game loss. Wilson leads the team in rushing with 67 yards and 4 first downs, averaging 6.1 yards per tote. WRs Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson each lead with 14 receptions, with Nabers going for 238 yards and 25 yards, while he is good for 10 first downs through the air.

For the Chiefs, WR Xavier Worthy (shoulder) has been ruled out, but Brown (ankle) and Mahomes (right wrist) each practiced in full Friday, and each are off the injury report ahead of SNF.

Giants WR Darius Slayton was limited all week in practice due to calf and groin injuries, but he is good to go. Robinson was also limited by a foot, but he doesn't have a designation, either. The same is true for RBs Cam Skattebo (ankle) and Tyrone Tracy Jr. (calf).

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes OVER 230.5 PASSING YARDS (-115)

Mahomes hasn't been himself this season, but it really isn't his fault. First off, Kansas City's schedule has been difficult with the Chargers and Eagles as the first 2 opponents. Second, he hasn't had a run game. In fact, he IS the run game, as both Hunt and Pacheco haven't been effective. Third, he hasn't had WR Rashee Rice due to suspension, and he is lucky to have had Brown.

Mahomes will be facing a Giants pass defense that has allowed 618 passing yards through 2 games, with 10 passes of 20 or more yards and 3 pass plays of 40 or more. The 40+ mark is tied for the worst in the NFL.

Mahomes should be able to roll up some big numbers under the lights, perhaps even turning in his first 300-yard performance of the season.

Giants RB Cam Skattebo ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN (+185)

The rookie is not expected to push Tracy to the bench anytime soon, but he is expected to carve out a nice role for himself in the offense. Picture a situation similar to Warrick Dunn and Mike Alstott back in the day with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That's likely what coach Brian Daboll sees as the best-case scenario.

Skattebo is the Alstott in that scenario. He'll be the hammer at the goal line, more often than not. At plus money, he is a good bet for an Anytime TD. He scored in Week 2 in Dallas, and if he gets into the end zone again Sunday, it will officially be a streak.

  • CHIEFS AT GIANTS: Odds, picks and predictions

Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson OVER 44.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-118)

Robinson blew up for 8 receptions, 142 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Dallas in Week 2. There was plenty of football to go around with Nabers.

Against the Chiefs, look for coach Andy Reid and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to key on Nabers, perhaps even double-teaming the superstar. It could open up huge chunks of grass for Robinson to get free.

Giants WR Malik Nabers UNDER 6.5 RECEPTIONS (-105)

As mentioned above, Reid, Spags and company might double Nabers, and that could really affect his volume and production.

Nabers has been targeted 25 times across 2 games, including 13 last week in OT in Dallas. He had 9 receptions for 167 yards and 2 scores in the Texas shootout. However, he managed just 5 catches in Week 1 in Washington.

Look, Nabers isn't going to have a total bust game. But, going Under on his receptions total is the way to go.

Giants PK Graham Gano OVER 5.5 POINTS (-125)

If you have followed this column in the first few weeks, you knew a kicker prop was coming.

I am not expecting the Giants to roll up huge totals, and I don't believe they're going to win this game. The Giants were just 4-for-16 on third-down efficiency in Week 1 at Washington and 0-for-2 in the red zone. Gano WAS the offense with 2 field goals in the 21-6 loss.

In Week 2, he posted 3 field goals and 4 point-after attempts, going for 13 points. The Giants were 1-for-5 in red-zone offense in Dallas. The struggles of the offense in the red zone leads to field-goal chances. As such, it won't take much for Gano to get to 6 or more points to cash this prop.
