TRAVIS KELCE has been handed a major fine by the NFL over an "obscene" gesture.

The Kansas City Chiefs star has been sanctioned for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The incident took place during the Chiefs' 20-17 defeat to Philadelphia Eagles.

In the third quarter Kelce received a pass from Patrick Mahomes on his own 35-yard line and dashed upfield.

The tight end reached the Eagles 45-yard line and he was delighted with his effort.

Kelce, 35, reacted with an unusual celebration.

He stretched out his arms towards the ground and began shaking his hands, with his palms open.

The NFL have taken the decision to sanction Kelce for the "obscene" taunt.

Kelce has been hit with a $14,491 fine - his third since 2021.
