GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting Friday night on Starling Court , according to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the 4100 block of Starling Court around 8:30 p.m. and found Tyrus Devon Davis, 44, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Investigators said Dex-Shone Quinnashea Miles, 29, called 911 after shooting Davis during a confrontation in the roadway. Miles was arrested and charged with felony second-degree murder.
He is being held without bond at the Guilford County Detention Center. His first court appearance is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22.
