LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A local organization celebrated Louisville artisans, entrepreneurs, and community organizations in the California neighborhood.
Change Today, Change Tomorrow held its West End Farmers Market on Sunday afternoon at California Park.
Organizers say it's a chance to support up-and-coming businesses and entrepreneurs, while also addressing food insecurity in West Louisville.
T'von Terry, the director of the farmers market, said, “There is a lot of businesses and folks doing their own thing, whether it's home goods, making their own clothes, food, tea, tinctures, and this was a great way to feed the community while having the community feed itself."
The next farmers' market will be the last one of the year. It will be held on Oct. 5.
