The praise was effusive, her attitude ebullient and her efforts very much appreciated, all of which led to Hugh Cole Elementary's pre-school/special education instructor Amy Kneath being named as the 2025-26 recipient of the Bristol Warren Regional School District Teacher of the Year Award.
Kneath was presented with the honor at the annual staff convocation prior to the start of the term and it was formally made public at the Monday, Sept. 15, meeting of the school committee.
Superintendent of Schools Ana Riley introduced Kneath to the committee last week, telling the body and the audience the nominations for the annual prize are provided by teachers, parents and others across the district.
