It was another weekend of 4A Wyoming high school volleyball with tough competition that mixed up the conference standings.

Thunder Basin traveled to Cheyenne for conference matches on Friday and Saturday, following back-to-back losses to Laramie.

On Friday, the Bolts took down Cheyenne Central in straight sets, 25-22, 28-26, and 25-16, to pick up their first 4A East conference win of the season.

On Saturday, the Bolts ran into a resilient Cheyenne East team that took Thunder Basin to the full five sets.

Thunder Basin won the first set 25-13, but in the second set, the Thunderbirds won 25-20. The teams would continue to trade sets, as Cheyenne East won the third set 26-24. Thunder Basin won the fourth set 25-20 to set up a deciding fifth set. In the final set, the Bolts fell 15-6, dropp
