John Lee Bradford, 38, of Gillette, was entered into the Campbell County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday of last week after suffering a gun shot wound in the leg from an accident while hunting rabbits, Deputy Sheriff Lee Appley, investigating officer, reported. Bradford said that he started to get out of his pickup and as he pulled his .22 caliber rifle across his lap, it accidentally discharged and the bullet struck the thigh of his left leg. The bullet completely pierced his leg. The accident happened one and half miles east of Interstate 90 on the Eight-Mile county road.
