On Saturday, the Northeast Wyoming Community Health Foundation celebrated 50 years of service at the 20th annual Black Cat Ball, and it awarded six residents with the Outstanding Community Health Award.
Executive Director Nachelle McGrath thanked the community for its generosity over the decades, which has aided the organization in “helping neighbors facing some of life’s toughest challenges.”
“Because of you, we’ve provided over $4 million in aid to more than 100,000 people across northeast Wyoming,” she said. “You’ve helped us fight cancer, support mental health, provide scholarships, make life more rewarding and fun for seniors at The Legacy, help seniors live safe and independently, and give patients and families a place to stay when treatment takes them far from home.”
