A dozen Capitol Police officers combed through the wooded Tent City homeless encampment off South Front Street early Monday, informing the remaining 20 or so residents that they had to get out or face arrest. Shawn, 53, a Tent City resident for two years, said he’s unsure where he will go. As he sat surrounded by his belongings next to the Capital Area Greenbelt path that snakes near the Susquehanna River, Shawn vowed he would not relocate to a near-by parking lot site run by a nonprofit that's being offered as an alternative.
