A longtime Golden Valley family restaurant has become the latest business to take action against an employee for comments that they made regarding the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

JJ's Clubhouse, at 6400 Wayzata Boulevard, said on Facebook that a social media post by one of its employees regarding Kirk's assassination had "circulated widely" and was "ultimately tied to [the restaurant]."

While the details of the post were not shared, JJ's said it had caused "unnecessary hurt and anger with our customers, our employees and the ownership of JJ's."

As a result, the restaurant said it has taken "swift, decisive and appropriate action to address this matter," though it doesn't provide any further details.
