EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Jasper Maurer, a patient at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent, was chosen as the “Honorary Fever Ball Kid” during a recent Indiana Fever home game.
Hospital officials say Jasper had the opportunity to meet Indiana Fever star Lexie Hull, sit courtside during warm-ups, and see their story showcased at halftime on the video board.
Officials say at 7 months old, Jasper was diagnosed with a rare developmental disorder that affects the adrenal glands.
