Martin Lewis has cautioned the British public to be wary of anyone claiming to represent MoneySavingExpert (MSE), especially those knocking on doors or calling by phone. Although MSE has received reports of these activities, the founder stressed that the organisation itself has not conducted such outreach, suggesting that anyone claiming to be from MSE is lying.

The 53-year-old star's warning was given yesterday in reply to a question from an X user, who wrote: "I just had someone come to the door claiming to be from MSE to help with my house tariffs - anyone know if this is a scam?"
