A Cumberland County man learned Tuesday he will serve no added jail time for causing a fatal crash in June 2021 that changed DUI law in Pennsylvania.

Larry W. Hunte pleaded guilty to counts of homicide by vehicle and driving under the influence for the June 7 one-vehicle crash near Carlisle that killed his passenger, Mary E. Staggs.

Prosecutors agreed to a minimum time-served jail sentence based on 458 days Hunte spent in prison after charges were filed in October 2021.
