OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - A 36-year-old man wanted for a felony warrant was arrested on Tuesday following a drug investigation after he fled during a search warrant near Emmeline Cook Elementary in Oshkosh.
The Oshkosh Police Department reported that the Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant in the 1500 block of Doemel Street and a neighborhood search for the man, who fled from the residence.
Officials notified the Elementary School of the search before performing it, and during the ongoing search as well. Multiple citizens reported that they saw the suspect in the area.
The man was found and arrested coming out of a backyard on Murdock Avenue near Hazel Street. He was wanted for a felony warrant through Probation and Parole.
A search of the residence revealed about 43 grams
