If you're a fan of summer and the warmth that comes with it, then this start to fall is right in your wheelhouse. It's been dry and unseasonably warm across the region, and that's not going anywhere any time soon.
High pressure and its associated ridge will be very much in control through the rest of the week. Occasionally, you'll see bookend low-pressure areas around the ridge. This is what's called an Omega Block, since what is observed looks like the Greek letter omega.
