SHELBURNE, Vt. (WCAX) - A machine meant to relax you made some Shelburne homeowners quite tense.
The Shelburne Fire Department says they got called out to a house on Elmore Street for a fire just after midnight on Sunday.
When they got there, they found light smoke inside, but a battery-powered foam muscle roller smoldering outside.
They say the people living there had the roller charging in the basement. When they heard an explosion, they found the roller on fire and projecting flames several feet into the air.
One of them covered the roller with a blanket and carried it outside.
Fire crews, who were just arriving, were then able to fully cool and contain it.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
