DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A North Druid Hills High School freshman is missing, and her family fears she may have been lured into a dangerous situation by someone she met online.

Amy Reidling , 14, was discovered missing Sunday night, shortly after her stepmother, Ginny Rutledge, returned home from dinner.

“I opened the door, and she was gone. (I) tore the house apart, called 911 at 9:15 p.m.,” Rutledge said.

The family believes Amy, who has no phone and very little money, may have been coached on how to run away.

“There’s a lot she doesn’t know, and especially in a big city like Atlanta,” Rutledge said.
