GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Krystals restaurant in Goodlettsville caught fire on Tuesday evening.

The Goodlettsville Fire Department responded to the restaurant on Cartwright Street around 7:15 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the roof.

Two engines launched an interior attack line and a hydrant supply to bring the fire under control.

The Nashville Fire Department also assisted with command once multiple companies arrived, and used their truck company to ventilate and cut open the roof structure.

Goodlettsville Fire is investigating the cause of the fire.
