NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Very humid air is present across New Mexico with very little to no rainfall dissipating in eastern to southern areas, as well as the higher elevations. East-gap winds are even gustier in eastern to central areas with even breezier conditions in western areas as more fog is developing in the northern valley floors to the eastern parts of the region.
Around-freezing temperatures are confined to the Northern Mountain peaks to the far-northern valley floors, while elsewhere is mostly starting off in the 40s to the 60s.
West-northwesterly upper-level winds are bringing in less upper-level moisture with the core of the jet stream to the north of New Mexico. Very few rounds of Monsoonal thunderstorms will form in the mountainous areas today through far-south areas of the reg
