WASHINGTON COUNTY, Neb. (WOWT) - A man’s body has been pulled from the Missouri River in Washington County.

A release sent Wednesday states that just after 1 p.m. Monday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a body in the river near marker post 655.

The sheriff’s office, along with Blair rescue crews, recovered the body along the shore.

Authorities are working to identify the body. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, according to the release.
