Temperatures are as much as 10º cooler today compared to Tuesday. Drier air is also moving in, with rain chances staying mainly over the Gila region this afternoon. This drier weather continues into Thursday, but temperatures will start a warming trend that lasts through Friday.

A large Pacific low pressure system will move into California Friday. This will start drawing up monsoon moisture into New Mexico once again. Storm chances will return to southern and western New Mexico Friday afternoon. Additional moisture will stream up into New Mexico as the low pressure sits and spins over southern California.
