(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- Good morning and happy Friday Eve! As we close in on the weekend, we are tracking some unsettled weather moving into the Carolinas after what has been a generally dry month of September. Showers and storms are expected this Thursday afternoon and will likely continue Friday and into the weekend as well. In the tropics, Tropical Storm Humberto has formed and is expected to develop into a major hurricane, but is not expected to impact the US mainland at this time. There is another tropical disturbance that is likely to develop that could bring some East Coast impacts next week.
