ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Brown water concerns are still top of mind for the residents of Bethalto, a small village in Southern Illinois, even as the water coloring and inspections have stepped up.
“Water safety is not negotiable,” said Village Mayor Gary Bost in a press release. “The IEPA has assured us that, even during the time prior to taking the filters offline, Bethalto’s water supply remained safe.”
Residents however, tell First Alert 4 they’re still concerned about water quality.
