GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Fourth Street in Grand Island was filled with music, food, carnival rides, boxing and much more for the annual Fourth Street Festival.
The event began on Saturday with a car show at the intersection of Pine and Fourth streets and lots of vendors, food from different cultures and a variety of music playing, which stretched across six blocks.
Organizer Agustin Sanchez said the event is important to celebrate to diversity in Grand Island.
“It brings in the community together and it brings a lot of people in from all over and then the boxing, the wrestling, the eating contests, people love it and people enjoy it and I enjoy it,” Sanchez said. “It’s fun, it’s work, but nothing’s easy you know.“
