NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A shirtless man allegedly robbed a North Kansas City bank over the weekend and walked across the street to use the cash to purchase a used vehicle.

Clay County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Saturday, Sept. 27, indicate that Jason P. Elliott, of Kansas City, has been charged in connection with a weekend bank robbery.

A probable cause statement revealed that around 5:05 p.m. on Friday, emergency crews were called to Central Bank at 1157 Burlington St. with reports of a robbery.

While en route, investigators said they learned the suspect was a shirtless man who had left on foot with a clear bag full of cash. He was then spotted in the Northland Auto used car dealership, armed with a rock.
