Donald Trump’s renewed threats to target films made outside the U.S. with tariffs are “exhausting,” the B.C. government said Monday, as it tried to reassure the local industry this is not a time to panic.
In a Truth Social post, the U.S. president threatened to impose a 100 per cent tariff “on any and all movies that are made outside of the United States.” He did not specify when or how the tariff would be enacted.
