The thread begins Saturday, Sept. 27 with a message from Trump's assistant Natalie Harp, passing on a quote attributed to the president in a style familiar from his posts to X and Truth Social:

"Governor: The ICE Facility in Portland was attacked again last night. In fact, it, and other Federal buildings, are being attacked on a nightly basis. We can't have this. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP"
