TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Pima County is asking for your feedback to make roads safer and more accessible for everyone thanks to a federal grant program to do just that.
The Pima County Safety Action Plan is to further one of the county’s top priorities; roadway safety, and it starts with the public taking this survey to help the county identify areas of concern but also things that are working well.
The county hopes a safety action plan will help identify strategies to reduce or eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries.
The outreach means a lot to Laura Zuniga, who was seriously injured when she was hit by a truck at Speedway and Pantano back in May while trying to cross a crosswalk in her wheelchair.
