GRANDVILLE, Mich. — Grandville Public Schools (GPS) will hold classes and bus services as scheduled Tuesday after the district received another bomb threat overnight.

On Monday, the district received an email claiming that a bomb had been placed on one of the school's buses. Out of an abundance of caution, transportation services were canceled and law enforcement were called to investigate.

Each bus was thoroughly searched and cleared.

Police said the email was from outside of the country and was not a credible threat.

Early Tuesday morning, GPS Superintendent Roger Bearup sent another letter to parents saying a second email threat had been received Monday evening.
