PHOENIX — The woman accused of stabbing another student inside an ASU West classroom has plead guilty.

Police said in September 2024, 19-year-old Kaci Sloan went to class planning to hurt someone. She then stabbed Mara Daffron several times.

Daffron survived the attack and is recovering from her injuries.

On Monday, Sloan plead guilty to aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. She is expected to be sentenced Nov. 7.
