The recall was technically issued by Georgia Nut Company, which manufactures the products, according to the USDA.
Some Tru Fru freeze-dried strawberry snacks are recalled because they might contain metal.
Affected items are Tru Fru freeze-dried strawberries in dark and white chocolate, and strawberries and creme.
They were sold at retailers including Target, Albertson's, Kroger, CVS, and Food Lion.
A report from a customer spurred the recall.
There have been no reports of injuries.
