Coach Prime reveals health struggles, issues public apology to BYU

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders provided a candid update on his health and took time to issue a public apology to BYU following last weekend’s matchup.

Sanders acknowledged he continues to battle lingering foot pain. “My foot is throbbing right now. We just went on our walk and my foot is hurting like crazy. I can’t wait to get out of these shoes and go get it rubbed down,” he said. Despite the pain, he added, “My other health issues are pretty darn good. Got a great staff of doctors and people here that look out for me.”

With his trademark sense of humor, Sanders also admitted, “I can’t go a whole game without Depends. Thank God for Depends.”
