SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Turning 100 years old is a milestone for both businesses and people. East High School in Sioux City is doing just that.
Since its founding in 1925, the school has grown, now enrolling approximately 1,500 students.
"Our motto that we have for homecoming this year is 'Once a Raider, always a Raider,'" said 1995 East High graduate and president of the Raider Spirit Foundation, Jeff Jepsen.
Jepsen said that throughout his years as a student and teacher at East, the core values of 'Tradition, loyalty, and being proud of the school you went to' remain.
