Monsoon season is officially over in New Mexico after today. Warmer weather moves in through the rest of this week with a fall storm system moving in by Saturday.
Only a couple showers have tried popping up in central and northern New Mexico for the last day of the 2025 monsoon season. These haven't lasted long at all, and have brought very little to no additional rainfall today. Temperatures are also starting a warming trend across the state. High pressure officially cuts off the monsoon flow and ends the monsoon pattern Wednesday. This will bring dry weather back to all of New Mexico on Wednesday as temperatures continue to warm. The warmest days are going to be Thursday and Friday when the high pressure system moves over New Mexico.
