LUBBOCK, Texas -- A non-profit organization called The Compassionate Friends is preparing to host their annual event called a "Walk to Remember." The organization offers those who have lost a child or loved one unexpectedly to have a space to grieve and heal. The Lubbock chapter leader, Isabel Espinoza, said this organization is personal to her after suffering her own unexpected loss.

The Walk to Remember event is entering its 10th year here in Lubbock. The event is free and allows the community to gather together and honor the lives and memories of the children or loved ones they lost.
