APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - The Community Blood Center is urging all eligible donors to donate blood as soon as possible after nearly a month of critical need for multiple blood types.
Eight to 10 minutes of your time spent donating blood can save a life.
“Their generosity has definitely made an importance and impacted me a great deal,” James Griffin said.
For people like James Griffin, who has had, by his account, at least 100 donations over his lifetime because of a genetic blood disorder, donations of blood give him a chance to live a normal life.
